HowTo:Global ThumbnailsLibrary

Starting from pdfsam version 2.1.0 you can plug different libraries to generate thumbnails with the visual plugins. The standard pdfsam distribution comes with JPodRenderer thumbnails generation library but, if you are not satisfied, you can download and try different libraries.

Plug a library

• Check for available thumbnails generation libraries and download the desired one.
• Extract the content of the downloaded zip file in the ext subdirectory of your pdfsam installation directory.
• Start pdfsam
• Open the settings panel
• Select the installed library from the Thumbnails creator drop down.
• Save.
